The objectives of the foundation are follows: the continuation and the protections of Marcello Zei’ s cultural, civil and didactic engagement, creating with the material of the “Homo Sapiens and Habitat “ exhibition in “Torre dei Templari” in San Felice Circeo (Latina), a civic museum dedicated to him; the growth of the initiatives in order to develop the knowledge of the man’s prehistory and his milieu.

This development means to use other scientific researches’ subjects, studies, plans on account for public administrations financings and/or private subjects concerning the themes that characterized Marcello Zei’ s cultural engagement.

The foundation’s purpose is specifically for social solidarity and not for business.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned aims, the foundation carries on the following activities:

  • It protects and promotes the valves of all the works, such as : prehistoric, story and artistic interest;

  • It collects, catalogues and manages Marcello Zei’ s private archives;

  • It insurances the opening, the management and the renovation of the present “ Homo Sapiens and Habitat exhibition and the resulting museum;

  • It collects and publishes Marcello Zei’ s manuscripts and his lectures’ texts;

  • It institutes scholarships and prizes dedicated to Marcello Zei;

  • It organizes, locally, nationally and internationally meetings, seminars, debates, even better in collaboration with other subjects;

  • It achieves agreements in collaboration with other Organizations or Foundations and attends Institutions, Societies and Associations having similar or complementary aims.
